Staining Wood With Tea
So I decided to make it different.
Staining wood with tea. I think this looks so much better than the squared edges. When steel wool is combined with an acedic acid vinegar it causes the steel to oxidize rust making iron acetate When iron acetate reacts with the tannins and turns the wood a dark colour. And I Stained Wood using Tea Coffee.
Wood Staining can be done in many ways. Let me also point out that I used my electric sander to give the edges of the top a slightly rounded look. Raw wood on the left and vinegar stain on the right Let the wood dry completely and while its drying make yourself up a batch of strong tea.
