Americas First Hemp Wood Factory is Being Built.

Hemp wood. Hemp Lumber An American Innovation. It can be recycled three more times that paper made of wood pulp. HempWood is a first of its kind being the only solid wood form of hemp on the market today.

The US federal government has finally clarified the rules about growing selling and producing hemp products. Mass production and order fulfillment began in the third quarter. This incredible source of biomass grows in just a few months producing four times more wood than an acre of trees.

Hemp With Bamboo Roots The idea of using hemp as a sustainable wood substitute was inspired by the experiences of our founder Greg while he was working for a bamboo flooring company years ago. It is a viable replacement for all wooden materials and can be easily used in construction for making furniture and even DIY projects that many of us cant do without. Hemp-fiber wood comes with all the better qualities of wood and none of its disadvantages. Our pressed hemp material is grown within 100 miles of our factory in Murray Kentucky.

In specific our factory in Murray KY became ground zero for moving. April 14 2019 at 327 am HempWood is 20 percent harder than oak and grows 100 times as fast. Widely considered to be the premier wood substitute with the smallest ecological footprint of any lumber alternative HempWood is perfect for use as anything that wood can be used for like construction materials flooring and furniture.
