Clean Mold Off Wood
Wipe the area clean with a damp towel and allow the wood to air dry.
Clean mold off wood. Scrub away the mold leaving the borax solution in the wood. Removing the mold from painted wood. Wash Down Sealed or Painted Wood.
Make sure to check the wood thoroughly for any remaining mold. If the mold is extremely resistant try sanding it away with sandpaper. Spray the solution onto the moldy surface then scrub with a soft brush or soft cloth.
Pour baking soda and water into a spray bottle and let the powder dissolve. Rinse well with clean water and allow to dry. Allow the vinegar to sit for up to one hour.
To kill mold with vinegar pour undiluted vinegar into a spray bottle and spray the moldy area directly. Repeat the process until there is no mold left. If the wood is painted then its even better news since the mold probably wouldnt have penetrated into the surface of the wood.
Vacuum the area to collect loose spores. If the mold has been present on the wood for a long time the streaks may go deep into the wood. To remove a mold stain on a painted wooden furniture start by rubbing with a sandpaper or an iron straw.
Don protective gearan air mask is a must. To remove light mold from wood furniture add cheap vodka to a spray bottle and coat the furniture with it before allowing the piece to air dry in direct sunlight. Then mix bleach with water in a container in the same amounts and rub the stain with a cloth soaked in the mixture.
